| この地区で最高のワインと言われる「シャヴィーニュ」です。仄かなオークが香り、ミネラルの風味がたっぷり！柔らかで優しく、膨らみを持った果実味が迎えてくれます。本来の力を発揮させるには、もうしばらくの貯蔵が必要でしょうが、すでに美味しく飲める要素が整っています。 |

●いつの間にか手に入らないワインになってしまいました。極少の正規品です。その昔ギュファンスを良く知る合田泰子さんと初めてあった頃に「ピエールクロ論議」をしたことが．．思い出されます。
まあ、思い出されると言っても、「そんなことをした」ということが思い出されるのであって、「何を話したか」肝心なことを覚えていない、トホホな
noisy です。おそらくはヴェルジェの総帥ギュファンスの話になったところで彼女が、
「ギュファンスはねぇ、こうなのよ、ああなのよ、あれはお飲みになったかしら、それともあそこの畑のは．」
と例の如くダムが決壊したように話し出し（彼女はワインのことになると目茶熱い素敵な素敵な方です．．）、 noisyは noisyで、
「最初の内は良かったんですよね〜、安いし旨いし．．でも最近は．．」
と、そんなようなことだったんだと思います。
と、前振りはそこまでなんですが、今考えればその頃はまだまだ安かった！と、思います。しかし、品質的にも向上しているようで、酒石酸がばっちり出た実に旨そうなワイン群です。テイスティングできるほど貰えませんでした。すみません．．。メゾン・ヴェルジェの総帥であるジャン＝マリ・ギュファン自らのドメーヌ、ギュファン・エナン．．。海外評論家達の評価もぐんぐん伸びているのは間違い有りません。 |

「トリ・ド〜」
って付いてますが、これは（おそらく）選別・分別したという事だと理解しています。ですので、
オー・ド・ヴィーニュ というリューディから良い葡萄を選んで造ったプイィ＝フュイッセ
という名前です。最も、「オー・ド・ヴィーニュ」ったって、直訳すりゃ、「葡萄の樹の回り」みたいな訳になっちゃいます。思いっきり意訳すれば、
「葡萄の樹の回りという畑の最高のブドウで造ったプイィ＝フュイッセ」
ということでしょうね。とても安いはずですが、本当に数がありません。

nose. Densely packed and powerful, with powerful, complex flavors of very ripe

the back half, finishing with terrific verve and length. 92 points

The slate liqueur-scented 2002 Pouilly-Fuisse Tri de Hauts de Vignes is a
penetrating, profound, concentrated wine. Lush, dense, and powerful, it reveals
ethereal mineral, herb, and flint flavors. This extraordinary wine magnificently
marries richness with precision, detail, and muscle. It is fleshy, fresh, and
complex. Drink it between 2007 and 2015.
Jean-Marie Guffens believes
that “2002 is as good as anything we’ve ever made at the estate.” While I agree
that they are magnificent, I believe his 2000s were better. Time will tell.

Croux
($85; just two barrels of wine, one of which was new;
13. 5+% alcohol) Reticent lemony nose, with a surprisingly subtle oakiness.
Densely packed and impressively tactile in the mouth, with somewhat green yet
thoroughly ripe flavors of spinach and asparagus to go with the citrus fruits.
From clay-based soils and thus not particularly minerally. Tastes as much like
gruner veltliner as chardonnay. A fascinating wine that is likely to age for a
long time. 91(+?) points

Only 568 bottles and 20 magnums of the 2002 Pouilly-Fuisse Clos des Petits-Croux
were produced. Its profound candle wax, spice, and flint nose leads to a medium
to full-bodied, big, bold, super-rich, and thick character. Its red wine-like
body is pure, deep, and quartz-like. Stones, gravel, herbs, and minerals are
found throughout its highly expressive, muscle-bound personality as well as in
its shockingly long finish.
Jean-Marie Guffens believes that “2002 is as
good as anything we’ve ever made at the estate.” While I agree that they are
magnificent, I believe his 2000s were better. Time will tell.

Pure, high-pitched aromas of peach, citrus fruit and pepper. Quite juicy and
firm in the mouth, with peach, citrus and spice flavors framed by youthfully
hard-edged acidity. Much less expansive and open than the Tri de Chavigne, and
unlikely to match that wine for complexity. 89(+?) points

The 2002 Pouilly-Fuisse La Cote exhibits rich slate aromas. This tightly wound,
crystalline wine has superb focus and purity to its light to medium-bodied,
satiny-textured character. However, its finish is somewhat compressed, which
prevented it from earning an outstanding score. Anticipated maturity: now-2010.
Jean-Marie Guffens believes that “2002 is as good as anything we’ve
ever made at the estate.” While I agree that they are magnificent, I believe his
2000s were better. Time will tell.

Chavigne
($49; from very ripe grapes picked at 14. 5%
potential alcohol on the domain's first day of the harvest, September 18) Exotic
aromas of apricot, orange marmalade, dried fruits, smoke and pepper.
Impressively fat and thick on entry, then explosive in the middle palate, with
huge concentration and fullness and a wonderfully silky texture. Solid
underlying structure is currently buried in flesh. A huge wine that builds
impressively on the aftertaste. 92 points

I adored the nose of the 2002 Macon-Pierreclos Tri de Chavigne. Honeyed slate,
stones, minerals, and spices can be found in its intensely complex aromatics. A
wine of great depth and concentration, it is broad, intense, lush, and reveals
exceptional purity. Herbal teas, pears, minerals, and slate are found in this
magnificent combination of richness and definition. Drink it over the next 7-8
years.

we’ve ever made at the estate.” While I agree that they are magnificent, I
believe his 2000s were better. Time will tell.
