ニュイの白と言えば、
ミュジニー・ブラン（現在はブルゴーニュ・ブラン）
クロ・ブラン・ド・ヴージョ
ニュイ・サン＝ジョルジュ・レ・ペリエール・ブラン
そして、このクロ・ド・ラルロ・ブランが特に秀逸とされています。また他に、モンリュイザンも白が有ります。
この２００１年はかなり出来が良いようで、ロヴァーニさんで９０点も付いてます．．(^．^;;
ピノも好きだがシャルドネも大好きな noisy なら．．呆れるほどのポイントを付けるかもしれません．．。ただ、まだ飲んでないので．．スマンこって．．
スメさんは、デュジャークさんの弟子ですので、その造りは全くそっくりです。ただし、デュジャークさんは白ワインの良い畑を持っていません。２０〜２５％の新樽を用い、ナッティーで濃厚、味わい深く膨らみのあるシャルドネに仕上げています。実を言うと、アンリ・グージュのレ・ペリエール・ブランもそうなんですが、何となく赤ワインの気配（ピノの果皮の．．）を感じるんですよね．．。危険ですね、やばいですね、やらしいですね．．素晴らしいですね．．いやー、是非とも完熟ワインを飲んでみたいものです．．。
ちなみにこの畑の樹は 1950年に植え替えられていますので、50年超の古木です。もっとちなむと、ロヴァーニさんは５〜６年の内に飲んでしまおう、と言っていますが、５〜６年経ったら飲もう．．と読み替えた方が良いかも．．と．．思いますよ。ニュイのモノポール（単独所有畑）で白ワインの神髄をご賞味下さい。

De Smet’s 2001 Nuits-St.-Georges Clos de l’Arlot (white) offers a nose of
spices, nuts, and ripe citrus fruits. It is light to medium-bodied, deep, packed
with spicy pears, and lush. This delightfully flavorful wine is well-balanced,
pure, and has wonderful mouth-feel. Drink it over the next 5-6
years.
Jean-Pierre de Smet, this estate’s director and winemaker, stated
that “2001 was very difficult during the entire growing season. The weather was
depressing, cold and rainy, which is really bad for viticulture. At harvest we
found everything in the bunches, ripe berries, rot, and green fruit. Severe
sorting was paramount.”
Readers hungry for news on the upcoming 2002
vintage will be interested to hear that it was the first time in de Smet’s
career where he didn’t chaptalize a single vat. He did say, however, that he was
compelled to acidify some lots.
