| ●ワイナート誌第１４号でも大々的に取り上げられた孤高のグランクリュ「クロ・ド・タール」です。ご存じの通りモメサン単独所有の畑ですね。絹ごしの舌触りに動物的なニュアンス．．。熟すとそんな感じになっていくと思います。 |

８８年のクロ・ド・タールは経験がありませんので、はっきりしたことは言えませんが、アドヴォケイト的には「かなり評価が低い」ワインです。内容を見てみると、ミディアムボディで酸が強く不快なフィニッシュだとコメントしています。
このワインの状態が良いので有れば、その当たりを検証できるかもしれませんね。エチケットに少々の汚れが有ります。ご了承下さい。

Drink 2005-2012 は、温暖化の影響を考えたとしても短すぎます。

The 1999 Clos de Tart is certainly outstanding and potentially exceptional. It
displays a gorgeous nose of rich plums, sweet black cherries, candied
blueberries, and loads of spices. Medium to full-bodied and opulent, this is a
lush, deep, and fresh wine. Its velvety-textured flavor profile is crammed with
blueberries, red cherries, and blackberries that seem to burst in the mouth,
revealing their sweet, refreshing juices, in a way not dissimilar to the finest
1996s. It also displays complex nuances of spices, oak, and hints of orange
zest. This marvelous wine should be at its peak of maturity between 2005 and
2012. Bravo!
Sylvain Pithiot, who is responsible (with his
father-in-law, Pierre Poupon) for the exceptional topographical maps of
Burgundy's vineyards, is also the director and winemaker at this fine estate. He
characterizes 1999 as "a great year, a dream year, one I'd have to place along
with 1990 and 1996." He went on to explain that the estate's philosophy in
recent years has been to have five bunches per vine, which generally translates
to 30 hectoliters per hectare. Yet, in 1999, "the weather was so extraordinary,
we left six bunches, which resulted in 42 hectoliter per hectare yields. In
2000, we returned to our five bunch per vine practice and harvested 31
hectoliters per hectare."

このクロ・ド・タールほど、人により違った印象を持たれているワインは他に有るでしょうか。ブルゴーニュではそれなりに大きな区画で有りながら単独所有を守ってきたグラン・クリュであり、努力していないと散々コケにされながらも、存在感を発揮してきた訳です。
90年台に入り、努力の甲斐あってか評価も上がってきています。まあ、それが良かったのかどうか．．判りませんが、価格も上昇しています。
97年のグラン・クリュですからそろそろ飲み始めても良いと思います。誰か飲ませてくれないかな．．と思う今日この頃です。
1997 Clos de Tart Clos de Tart
Ruby-red. Initially reticent nose opened with aeration to show superripe
aromas of crystallized raspberry, dark chocolate, coffee, mocha and spicy
oak. Thick and very concentrated; will give great early pleasure due to
its compelling sweetness.
"The '96 and '95 are much more closed now," notes Sylvian Pitiot, regisseurof Clos de Tart.Finishes very long, with a flavor of cherry pit; the tannins
are ripe but a bit less fine than those of the '98. Doesn't have quite
the freshness of the vintage very best examples, but this is utterly seductive
juice. 91
