| ●鮮烈な再デビューを飾ったアルジャーノ。そのブルーのエチケットには神々しいものがあります。（経年変化で少しずつくすみますが．．。現実にはその味わいを楽しむのは少し早すぎるかもしれません。あるお客さんは「ん．．．虐待だねえ．．これを飲むのは．．」と申しておりました。noisyもそう思います。（でも飲んだが．．） |

かのエノロゴ中のエノロゴと謳われたジャコモ・タキスによるスーパートスカーナ「ソレンゴ」。トスカーナ・ブレンドにシラーをプラスするという掟破りのセパージュ？に新樽７割、ノンフィルターで生産。２万本ほどの少量です。もともと歴史有るブルネロの生産者ですが、チンザノ家が買収し、最新の造りをし始めて現在に至っています。ここ１．２年の値上がりは驚異的で、華やかで深みのある味わいが現代にマッチしたということでしょう。ただ、高いですので（ＮＯＩＳＹが買った価格も高いんです）止めた方がいいかもしれませんよ。（ <----？？）ちなみに固くて固くてどうにも成りません．．。虐待になります。

The 1998 Solengo is a terrific offering. An intriguing blend aged in 100% new
French oak for 16 months prior to bottling, it boasts an opaque ruby/purple
color, as well as a classic black currant and blackberry-scented bouquet infused
with high quality, toasty oak, and elements of roasted espresso. Intense, medium
to full-bodied, chewy, and rich, with a multilayered mid-palate and sweet
tannin, this mouth-filling, dry red can be drunk now as well as over the next
10-15 years. Impressive!

【記念すべきファーストヴィンテージ！．．全てはこのワインから始まった．．】
モンタルチーノのサンジョヴェーゼにシラーをブレンドしたスーパートスカーナです。まあ、アルジャーノの古いモンタルチーノを「すげー旨い」などと思ったことは皆無ですが．．（やば．．）経営が変わってから凝縮感がしっかり出てきたことは間違い有りません。（モンタルチーノか、モンテプルチアーノか．．味わいからは逆じゃないの？などと思っていました．．ん？やばっ！）
いつの間にか話題になり、引く手数多になってしまったワインです。今となっては手に入らないヴィンテージですが．．それでも
「９５vinはもう飲めるかなあ．．」と思ったら外します．．。とっても固かったです。が、いい加減時間が経っていますので．．そろそろ飲めるようになっているでしょう。でもあと２〜３年位置いたらさらに良いでしょうね。

Proprietary Blend (a dry red table wine)
An exceptionally impressive wine, the 1995 Solengo (meaning, to go it alone) is
a superb blend of Sangiovese and Syrah. The wine, which was aged in new French
oak casks, boasts a dense, saturated ruby/purple color, as well as a stunning
nose of blackcurrants, chocolate, smoke, and an elusive floral scent. Long,
dense, and extravagantly rich, with full body and exceptional purity, this low
acid yet fleshy, powerful, silky-textured wine impressively conceals some
serious tannin. The wine is exceptionally rich and layered in the mouth, but
unevolved, yet it possesses enormous potential. Approximately 1,500 cases were
made of this wine, which will be released in September, 1997. It should improve
for 5-10 years, and last for two decades. This is a brilliant wine!

ＰＫさんの評価はこのところずっと続けて９４ポイントです。９５〜９６以上行かないのは、「固い」性だからでしょうか．．。まあ、いずれにしても凄いワインであることに変わりありません。カベルネ、メルロ、サンジョヴェーゼ、シラーのセパージュのスーパータスカンです。

Proprietary Blend (a dry red table wine)
A fine offering, the 1999 Solengo is a blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon,
Merlot, Sangiovese, and Syrah. This opaque purple-colored offering exhibits
gorgeously ripe blackberry and cassis fruit mixed with scents of leather,
charcoal, earth, and wood. Dense, opulent, and full-bodied, with sweet tannin in
the finish, it is still youthful and unevolved, but promises to drink splendidly
well between 2004-2015.
